BROADSTONE LEISURE CENTRE

Broadstone Leisure Centre, our local health and fitness club ... just got better!! Fitness and sport does not stand still ... customer expectations do not stand still hence why Broadstone Leisure Centre has not stood still!

The main hall at Broadstone, which was popularly used as a venue for fitness classes, five-a-side football, badminton, shortmat bowls and junior coaching sessions (trampoline/football/superstars etc...) is being transformed into arguably the biggest and most hi-tech gymnasium in the area. However not wishing to take away the sporting side of the centre, we've built the main hall above the gymnasium. Then not wishing to restrict spectators in their enjoyment of viewing/supporting the sporting activities on offer, we've built a superb viewing gallery as well.

This is obviously going to have a positive effect on customers, and potential customers, and the numbers attending.

The main reason behind the refurbishment/alterations is that we have decided to take this action before Broadstone Leisure Centre has a serious problem of overcrowding. Added to the new gymnasium, incorporating Cardio-Vascular / Multi Gym & Free Weight areas, and added to the new Main Hall will be new changing/relaxation/beauty rooms for both male and females plus a new and furnished mini-function room, a new martial art facility and a superb purpose built aerobic/fitness studio. Expectations only ever move upwards and for Broadstone to have a facility of this quality is fantastic for all local residents, as well as visitors.

Broadstone seems to be going from strength to strength with not only these major refurbishment and alteration works taking place, but also last year all four tennis courts were professionally relaid and two new children's party areas have been added throughout Summer. Also throughout Summer 2003 local schools such as Broadstone Middle, Rushcombe and Lytchett Matravers were used as venues for junior 'skills for life' coaching camps enabling children aged 6 - 13 years to enjoy structured and FUN sporting activities taken by professional coaches and backed up by national badge criteria. . . all seems rather well at Broadstone Leisure Centre.
