Broadstone Neighbourhood Watch held a poster painting competition competition photolast year on the subject of anti-social behaviour, and approximately 40 children took part. This year 300 children participated creating posters on the subject of road safety.

On Tuesday 8th June Steve Wathen, David Williams and PC Nick Wyer spent two hours judging the posters which were of a very high standard and made it extremely difficult deciding upon the winners. Broadstone Neighbourhood Watch was honoured to have the Chief Constable of Dorset, Mrs Jane Stichbury present the prizes to the winners on Friday 18th June. Once again we are looking forward to displaying the winning posters in the Broadstone Library during the summer school holiday.
