• Dial 1471 to find out the number of the last person who called you. Press 3 to call them back - the only charge is the cost of your call.
• Not any more it isn't. After a wait of 25 minutes BT informed me that they had introduced a flat rate 'Call return fee' of 6p from 1st August 2004. You only pay if you press 3. Seems like a stealth increase to me.
