We at Broadstone Access Group are very pleased to announce our successful funding application to Grassroots Community Foundation Bournemouth Dorset & Poole, we have been awarded £2,500.00 towards our exciting new project – developing our signposting / guidance services, making our community accessible to all.
Our vision is to further our work within the local area, continuing our dynamic meetings full of interesting facts brought to us by various speakers who visits our groups to keep us at the forefront of our community. We assist people with disabilities and their loved ones and carers to locate advice, services and goods as appropriate, we are now extending our support outside of Broadstone into surrounding areas.
If you have an interest in joining our pro-active team – please come along to our next meeting on Friday 11th September 2009 2pm – 4pm in the Bradbury Room, Broadstone Methodist Church, Broadstone. This can be found on the 2nd floor via the lift or stairs (entrance via church car park in Macaulay Road).
