Caesar - the Assistance Dog
Caesar is an Assistance dog who lives with his owner Wendy, who is a wheelchair user, in Broadstone. Caesar has been trained, by Dogs for the Disabled, to help Wendy with many everyday tasks. Before Caesar arrived Wendy led a very restricted life, she was afraid to go out in case she couldn't cope and some days she hardly got out of bed and got dressed. Since she got Caesar three years ago Wendy's life has completely changed, her confidence has grown, she travels about all over the place and her zest for life has returned. She says that Caesar has allowed her to live, love and laugh again.

Many people will have seen Caesar, a beautiful Golden Retriever, and Wendy in Broadstone, on her scooter, in the local shops and in Somerfields where he gets things off the high shelves for her. They have been to London, Wimbledon to the Championships, Crufts and many other places, all of which are on Caesar's website.
On November 19th this year Caesar and Wendy were invited to visit their MP, Annette Brooke, at the Houses of Parliament. Caesar has written a diary of that day.
