Broadstone Players "Plays and Chips 18"
Time: 19:30
Location: War Memorial Hall, Tudor Road
Broadstone Players holds their annual presentation of three one act plays, with a fish and chip supper. It's called Plays and Chips 18, and it's at the War Memorial Hall, Tudor Road, Broadstone at 7.30 on Saturday 6th September, Friday 12th September and Saturday 13th September- doors open at 7.00.

Our plays this year are:

"In Room Five Hundred and Four" by Jimmy Chinn - the older Edie casts her memory back to her wedding night, giving us a drama of comedy and pathos.

"On Location", by Stephen Smith, a comedy set among movie extras. What were Howard and Dirk up to, where did the rogue meteor go, and what did Victoria bring back from the Hindu Kush?

"Cards Cups and Crystal Ball", by David Campton, a play about three sisters who make their living by telling fortunes. The arrival of the mysterious Lady M leads them to realise that maybe their gift is more than a way of conning money from the gullible- but meddling with such things rarely has happy results.

This promises to be a good night out for fans of drama (and fish and chips).

Tickets from N J Lines Newsagents, Broadway, Broadstone, or from the door.
